Recently graduated from Leeds College of Art -  Maddie has been selected by Texprint 2017, as one of 24 leading textile graduates in the UK. Maddie will be exhibiting at Premiere Vision, Paris this Septemeber.

 

"As a designer, my personal practice is developed from my love of stylised drawings and bold colour. I particularly enjoy creating exciting patterns and prints through the exploration of screen printing and digital printing. I have a great interest in the influences of nostalgia and kitsch within design, which I apply to my work with a fresh and contemporary approach. I often incorporate innovative ways to embellish my designs, inspired by my passion for hand crafted textiles and fashion. I love working in a style that is bold, tactile and experimental.  I enjoy working to a brief, exploring new themes and concepts through the versatility of my style."

 

With Experience working within Industry with Designer, MAry Katrantzou and high street brand, accessorize/monsoon - maddie excited to kick start her design career and is open to different internship and career opportunities.
